About Me

I am an electrical engineer, and I got my degree in the university of my home town in Spain.  I also studied one year in Germany within the framework of the Erasmus programme, which is something I really recommend to anyone who has the chance.

In 2001 I started working for a Spanish company, and I was lucky to be able to participate in several international projects.  I have worked with teams from Italy, Germany, UK, France and Finland, and I have also lived in England for a year.

After 5 years working on the technical side I moved to management and since then I am enjoying a career as project manager.

About this blog

When I said “I moved to management” I should have said “I was pushed into project management”.  I don’t regret that change, and I enjoy my current job.
However, given my current knowledge, I know that I needed more help than I had.  Looking back at my first months as project manager, I know I could have done a much better job (and be way less stressed out) if I had had a bit more help.

This blog gathers my thoughts and experiences about project management, hoping that they will help others.
